Manchester City expose new stadium tour to mark 125th birthday

Manchester City Football Club revealed the introduce of a new stadium tour this week, as the Club celebrates its 125th birthday. ​

 

The ‘Manchester City Tour’ will provide fans with the most immersive tour experience in football, guiding them with the Club’s history as well as heritage as much as the present day.

 

Using innovation to improve the experience of fans, the tour includes 3-D holographic content, augmented truth as well as a 360-degree cinema screen – the very first of its kind in the English Premier league (EPL).

 

As part of the new tour, the Club has opened an exhibition area which includes key historical artefacts, a few of which will be displayed in public for the very first time.

 

In addition, the area includes interactive exhibits with spinning cotton spools which tell the story of Manchester’s industrial past, with to a holograph design of Manchester City’s crests with the ages.
